The operating architecture

Revops OS

Five layers that turn a company into a revenue engine.

ROUTE describes what happens to one signal. Revops OS is what makes it happen to every signal, every day. It connects people, data, systems and workflows on the CRM and tools you already use.

There is no new platform to buy. Revops OS is an architecture we implement inside your environment, not a product we license to you.

The five layers

  1. 01

    Data

One version of commercial reality. The model, the sources and the rules that keep it trustworthy.

  2. 02

    Context

Meaning on top of the record. Scoring, segmentation, intent, history, stage.

  3. 03

    Workflows

The decisions, made repeatable. Routing, orchestration, ownership, SLAs.

  4. 04

    Action

Where the engine meets the market. Calls, campaigns, conversations, follow-up.

  5. 05

    Control

Proof and the loop back. Reporting, forecasting, governance, correction.

Where engines break first

Each layer fails in a way you can recognise.

A layer sitting behind the others is the one to look at first. These are the shapes each failure takes, in the order a Diagnostic tends to find them.

  1. 01

    Data

The same company exists three times, reports need cleaning before a meeting, and two teams report different revenue for the same month.

  2. 02

    Context

Records are complete and nobody can say which ones matter. Priority is decided case by case, so the same lead gets two different answers.

  3. 03

    Workflows

Handoffs depend on someone remembering. Work moves between systems by hand, and the first thing that breaks does so quietly.

  4. 04

    Action

Quality changes with whoever is on shift. Activity happens and leaves no trace the rest of the engine can read.

  5. 05

    Control

The numbers are debated before they are used, and the quarter is discovered to be missed while it is already over.

Which domain builds which layer

A genuine matrix, so it stays a table. The count is the number of capabilities in that domain whose primary layer is that column.

Questions

Frequently asked

Is Revops OS a software product?

No. It is an architecture implemented inside the tools you already own. There is no licence and nothing to install.

Why five layers?

Because each layer fails in a distinct way, and separating them prevents a symptom in one layer being repaired in another.

Which layer should we look at first?

Data and Context, because a failure there propagates. Workflows and Action failures are more visible, and are frequently consequences rather than causes.
